SUMMARY:  LC 41 0730S  LC 41 0796S

Authorizes the carrying, possession, and use of electroshock weapons by persons who are 18 or older or are enrolled students at a public institution of postsecondary education while in or on any building or real property owned by or leased to the school

Use of the electroshock weapon shall be in defense of self or others

Includes definition of electroshock weapon 

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval by the General Assembly and Governor.
