SUMMARY:  LC 28 0365  LC 47 1817S

When a public officer (including school board members) is suspended because of indictment for a felony, the compensation would be suspended. If reinstated, the official would be entitled to receive any withheld compensation. If term of office has ended before a reinstatement could occur, back compensation can still be provided.
