Allows firefighers to direct traffic at the scene of a fire
Summary of the bill as introduced: Allows the governing body of a city or town, by ordinance, to provide that all members of a municipal fire truck company or other employees of the fire department may direct and control traffic at the scene of any fire in the municipality and enforce the laws of this state or ordinances of the municipality relating to the following of a fire apparatus, the crossing of the fire hose and interfering with firemen in the discharge of their duties.
