Bio

Alexis Calatayud was elected to the Senate in 2022. She previously served as a full-voting member of the Florida International University Board of Trustees. She earned a B.S. from Florida International University in 2017, where she also served as President of the Student Government Association. Born in Miami, Florida, she is a nondenominational Christian.
