Richard grew up on a farm. He farmed to pay for college. He ran the Graves county Co-op. He builds barns, tool sheds, and buildings for farmers every day. Richard has lived the farm life and understands how important farming is to the Commonwealth. Richard successfully ran the Graves County Co-op for years. For over two decades he has run his own successful business. Honesty, hard work, and treating people right are the core values that have brought him success. He knows what agri-businesses need to prosper. With over a decade of experience helping Kentuckians in Frankfort, Richard has built the trust and relationships needed to get the job done. As chair of the House Ag Committee, he has listened to farmers and worked tirelessly on their behalf. Richard has fought to make sure our school Family Resource Centers stayed funded, our children could go to school in safety, and businesses could find opportunities to bring jobs to Kentucky. He lives, works, and worships in the heart of Kentucky. He listens to his neighbors and understands what Kentuckians want from Frankfort. Richard is a friend, and father, a husband, a business owner, and a hunter. He knows what it means to want to live life without worrying about big government taking away his rights. He has the common sense, family values, and life experience needed to help Kentuckians thrive. Richard is a family man with family values. He loves his wife, kids, and grandkids. He knows that what we do today leaves a legacy for our family tomorrow. Richard is dedicated to giving everything he can to help us leave the next generation a Kentucky we can all be proud of.
