Delegate Wendell Walker, elected in November of 2019, is a conservative Republican, representing the 23rd House District in the Virginia House of Delegates. Wendell is a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment, is adamantly Pro-Life, and advocates for Pro-Business policies. He serves on the following House Committees- Health, Welfare and Institutions; Finance; and General Laws.
Wendell is a long-time member of the Republican Party of Virginia, having served in a number of leadership positions- Chairman of the Lynchburg Republican Party, Chairman of the 6th District Republican Committee, and currently as the House Caucus Representative on the State Central Committee.
Delegate Walker is a graduate of Liberty Baptist College, now Liberty University, and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. He is retired and has been married to his wife, Patsy, for over 40 years. |
