Substitute Training is a three-hour course for individuals who wish to become substitute teachers. A certificate of completion is awarded once the training is completed.
To serve as a substitute teacher, candidates will first need to meet requirements that vary among local school systems. Each school district requires an additional in-house orientation prior to substituting. Details regarding local requirements and in-house orientation will be available at each county’s Board of Education. The day of the training, please log in 15 minutes early (8:45) to get checked-in.
