| This bill details the proposed appropriations of funds for select school facilities. This bill proposes that $80M be transferred from LSRA with additional funding for capital construction, land acquisition, and other costs equally ~$4.65M. WAM will monitor to see if creates impacts on the local government funding from LSRA or local infrastructure projects. |

| This bill continues to exclude local governments from participation in the statewide enterprise technology network (computer purchase requirements). This bill identifies that state departments and schools include access to the unified network but continue to state that due to private sector competition they are excluding local government. WAM supported the bill but requested that conversation continue to see if improved service or costs could be realized by municipalities. A&I testified that more infrastructure is in place that could possibly decrease community costs with private providers. |
